Sunshine Coast Vacation at its best

A comfortable and elegant Roberts Creek B&B cottage set amidst towering firs and cedars, with gently sloping grassy play and relaxation areas and a forest ringing the western side of the property makes Cottage Al Sole a wonderful getaway destination for singles, couples, families or those looking for a health retreat style vacation.

Cottage Al Sole Gardens

The Gardens at Cottage Al Sole have been lovingly tended for years and are maturing under our happy hands into a beautiful paradise of shrubs, trees, roses, bed flowers... and a huge variety of fresh vegetables ready to grace your table! The greenhouses are nurturing a growing crop of squash, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and more... and the vines show a summer lushness of berries not to be missed. The gardens are open to your wanderings and we are happy to share our knowledge of the plantings if you come across us. You are welcome to help yourself to the gifts of the soil, taking care to use only what you need of course. We'd be happy to cook some up for you if you'd like to try something you're not familiar with cooking!

The Woods of Roberts Creek

Just beyond the garden house is a trail leading into the woods fringing the property. Explore cool, shaded trails, and listen to the beautiful birdsong as you wander. Our trails lead to Crown Land and a more complex trail system  - recreational maps are available at the Visitor Information Centre in Sechelt. Wildlife is still very much in evidence on the Sunshine Coast so be sure to watch for signs of deer, bear, cougar and coyote. In spring and fall the animals are down looking for food, so we ask that you not leave any garbage or food wrappers anywhere on the property or along the trails.

Vacationing for Families in Roberts Creek

We welcome families at Cottage Al Sole! Little ones are a pleasure and there is much for them to do... play bocce, croquet, or badminton, or catch, play on the newly erected playset, hike the trails (with a parent for the young ones), suntan, read, or head down to the beach for some sandcastle building on low tide or swimming at the high tide.
